School-Linked Services, based in the Bay Area, provides early intervention and therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families who have needs around a mental health issue. These services include individual and family therapy, parent workshops, and youth groups, while utilizing evidence-based practices. Staff work in collaboration with teachers and parents to support children and families in schools and their community.
Services are integrated into school settings to quickly identify needs and prevent the escalation of emotional and behavioral challenges. School-Linked Services is currently serving 6 districts within Santa Clara County, including Campbell Unified School District, San Jose Unified School District, Mountain View Los Altos School District, Luther Burbank School District, Franklin McKinley School District, and Mountain View Whisman School District.
School-Linked Services has also been supporting schools very closely by working with administration, teachers, school staff, and parents to support students with the transition to distance learning and now back into in-person learning.
Some of our presentations have included information on Zoom fatigue, trauma-informed care, how to support students when returning back to school for both parents and teachers, as well as presenting on the School-Linked Services program and how we provide access to support services.
School-Linked Services will also be offering summer groups for kids including themes such as Adventure, Elementary Social Skills, Rooted in Nature (Hiking), Creative Art, Teamwork Sports and Games, Gentle Movement, Gaming, and Games for Anxiety.
Additionally, School-Linked Services has been providing emotional/behavioral support to students at over 13 different schools throughout San Jose Unified summer school programs.

Responsibilities include providing early intervention mental health and behavioral services to children, youth, and caregivers in a school-based, community setting, and providing comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, risk assessment, clinical interventions, case management, and coordination of therapeutic activities in the community with limited supervision.
Both permanent and temporary positions are available.
