Senior Clinical Psychology Supervisor Charles Chege and Senior Director of Training Beth Jenks recently contributed to the article “The Worldview Genogram: A Process Model for Enhancing Diversity Responsiveness and Competence in Education, Training, and Clinical Supervision”, published in Psychological Services, a scholarly publication of the American Psychological Association.
In the article, Chege and Jenks discuss identifying safe and practical tools for diversity responsiveness and competence in a clinical setting. Additionally, they discuss the success of the Worldview Genogram that has been developed and implemented in the field and classroom settings.
“The model’s uniqueness lies in the fact that it is nonpathologizing, strengths-based, trainee driven, and predicated on instructor or supervisor modeling.”
