This year, over 240 children and their family members enjoyed a fun family outing at Hollygrove for a Halloween carnival hosted by Young Variety. The carnival dates back to 2009 and has helped give hundreds of children a memorable Halloween experience.
Volunteers from Young Variety work all year long to raise funds for this special event so that families and children can enjoy games, jewelry making, face painting, family portraits, music and tasty food. With the help of volunteers from Viking Charities and St. Matthews, a costume store full of donated costumes from JAKKS Cares was set up so that every child left the carnival with a new costume.
Thank you Young Variety, JAKKS Cares, Viking Charities, NGA, St. Matthews, and the children from the Armenian Pilibos School for all of your hard work! Our children and families went home with Halloween memories they won’t soon forget!
