Support Services offer various programs to address social determinants of health, including housing and employment coaching and placement, among other critically needed services.
The Kinship Support Services Program focuses on supporting, strengthening, enhancing and assisting relative caregivers as they work to protect and strengthen the children in their care.
The primary goal of the Kinship Support Services Program is to meet the needs of relative caregivers so they can effectively provide for the children in their care and to help avoid placement of children in unrelated foster care homes.

When you call for help, our team of therapists, social workers and other crisis professionals will arrive as soon as possible. They will start by assessing the situation and its risk. Then, they will try to calm down, or de-escalate, the individual in crisis.
The goal of our crisis services is to prevent the need for hospitalization or off-site care. However, outside support may be the best option to de-escalate the crisis in some severe cases. Our mobile mental health team will transport the person in crisis to a sobering center, crisis stabilization unit, shelter or mental health urgent care if this is the case.
After the individual is stabilized, we will work with them to create a continuing care plan, which helps prepare them to stay safe if this happens again. We can refer to community outreach services, clinics and case management services.
