The Los Altos Town Crier, an independent newspaper serving Los Altos and surrounding Santa Clara County, wrote a piece on Pacific Clinics’ nonprofit transfer of assets agreement with the Community Health Awareness Council (CHAC) to ensure the continuity and expansion of services.
The article “CHAC officially done, but mental health services continue locally” discusses the agreement under which Pacific Clinics will provide services out of the existing 590 West El Camino Real Mountain View location. This agreement will allow for the continuation of mental health care services CHAC has provided for its clients over the past 51 years, and extend the benefits of Pacific Clinics’ social services, substance use treatment and wellness programs for children, adults and families.
“This partnership will strengthen Pacific Clinics, helping us provide even better support and working toward our vision of a world in which all people realize health and well-being. We look forward to building on CHAC’s history of excellent services and commitment to its communities,” added Kathy McCarthy, CEO/President of Pacific Clinics.
