Educational Programs
Educational Programs provide students with the skills they need to live successful lives. Our robust programs include early childhood development, classroom consultations in partnership with school districts, adult continuing education programs and parent workshops.
Support Services

Support Services offer various programs to address social determinants of health, including housing and employment coaching and placement, among other critically needed services.

As the excitement of a new school year builds, it can also bring stress and uncertainty, especially for families striving to make ends meet. At Pacific Clinics, we recognize these challenges and are committed to making a difference through our annual backpack drive. This year, we collected and distributed more than 800 backpacks and 200 hygiene kits to children and teens across Santa Clara County.

The lack of basic school items can lead to unfinished classwork and homework, increasing the chances of students falling behind academically. This can have a negative effect on their self-esteem and confidence in the classroom. Our backpack drive is designed to ease these concerns. Each backpack is filled with age-appropriate school supplies, ensuring that students have the tools they need for a successful school year. In addition, the hygiene kits include items such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, dental floss, lip balm, sunscreen, tissues, hand sanitizer, and deodorant to support the overall well-being of our students.

Once the backpacks are thoughtfully assembled, our dedicated clinical teams distribute them directly to families in need. We serve 17 of our programs, including Foster Care & Adoptions, Addiction Prevention Services, School-Linked Services, and Crisis Intervention. Our goal is to reach as many families as possible and provide them with the support they need to start the school year on the right footing.

Families and children are thrilled to receive these backpacks and kits. Many tell us that they are grateful their children do not feel left out as many of their schoolmates have new items and backpacks,” says Director of Development, Bay Area Maricris Morrison.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our incredible donors and volunteers who made this possible by purchasing, organizing, and assembling backpacks in the gym at our Los Gatos Campus:

Though the new school year is already upon us, Pacific Clinics accepts donations of school supplies year-round. For more information on how you or your organization can help, please contact Darren DeMonsi at (408) 417-0784 or ddemonsi@pacificclinics.org.
