Pacific Clinics welcomed more than 120 attendees to our annual Volunteer Recognition Event on October 28, at the Campbell Community Center Orchard City Banquet Hall. This annual dinner acknowledges the outstanding work of our auxiliary and community volunteers.
Awards were presented to individual volunteers who have gone beyond to help our youth and families in need. Nancy Jones and Robb Stolberg of the Happy Dragon Thrift Shop, Durga Subramanian of the Unicorn Thrift Shop, and Lynn Walton of the EMQ auxiliary Butter Paddle Gift Shop presented awards to their respective volunteers, as well as a special award presented by Senior Clinical Director Simon Purse to Cristal Hernandez, a dedicated volunteer for Pacific Clinics.
All three thrift shops are known throughout Silicon Valley as treasure troves of vintage clothing, housewares, jewelry, collectibles and much more! All proceeds benefit the children and families served by Pacific Clinics.
Director of Fund Development, Bay Area Maricris Morrison said, “Our volunteers raise over $800,000 a year to help fund programs and services in Santa Clara County to help our most vulnerable children, adults and families. We couldn’t do it without their dedication and commitment. Some of whom have been volunteering for more than 40 years.”
Thank you to everyone who attended and celebrated our amazing volunteers who help make a critical difference in our community.
Volunteering is one of the best ways that you can help Pacific Clinics provide mental health support, substance use disorder treatment and supportive services. Our volunteers are dedicated and compassionate individuals and groups who aim to make their community and the world a little brighter for children, youth, adults and families in need.
