Support Services offer various programs to address social determinants of health, including housing and employment coaching and placement, among other critically needed services.
People suffering from mental health challenges can experience a crisis anywhere at any time. Pacific Clinics’ Mobile Crisis Services will provide crisis management and de-escalation services needs no matter where they are.
For immediate risk, you need immediate help. Crisis situations can leave you unsure what to do. This is a very overwhelming position to be in, but you’re not alone.
When you need help with a mental health crisis, Pacific Clinics offers mobile mental health services for families, children and adults.
Many emergency response teams don’t have the experience or tools to address mental health crises. Pacific Clinics does.
Our mobile mental health crisis teams can reach the scene of the crisis as soon as possible. We take the necessary action to keep you safe.
You can’t always plan for when you’ll need mental health services most. We provide support for families, children or adults experiencing a mental health crisis or chemical dependency crisis.
When our mobile crisis team arrives, our only goal is to help you. We will treat you with complete respect and no judgment.
Rather than separate families or force the person in crisis into an unfamiliar place, we de-escalate the situation onsite whenever possible; however, people experiencing severe mental health crises can face hospitalization.
We offer family-centered, flexible services to help you through this difficult time.
When you call for help, our team of therapists, social workers and other crisis professionals will arrive as soon as possible. They will start by assessing the situation and its risk. Then, they will try to calm down, or de-escalate, the individual in crisis.
The goal of our crisis services is to prevent the need for hospitalization or off-site care. However, outside support may be the best option to de-escalate the crisis in some severe cases. Our mobile mental health team will transport the person in crisis to a sobering center, crisis stabilization unit, shelter or mental health urgent care if this is the case.
After the individual is stabilized, we will work with them to create a continuing care plan, which helps prepare them to stay safe if this happens again. We can refer to community outreach services, clinics and case management services.
At Pacific Clinics, we help children, adults and families of all languages, backgrounds, ages and immigration statuses.
Whether you’re looking for immediate service or preparing for a crisis situation, our team is here to help you. We treat every client with compassion and individualized attention. Pacific Clinics serves over 22,000 Californians every year, and we can help you, too.
