We Care Fund

Pacific Clinics established the Consumer Activities and Resources for Emergency (CARE) Fund to provide emergency financial resources for educational and socialization programs, and other program needs for adults and children who may be unhoused or from low-income families. The CARE Fund also provides financial support in case of unforeseen or extraordinary life events. This can include:

  • Funeral expenses
  • Beds for a family who is newly housed as they move into a new apartment
  • Eyeglasses
  • Relocation expenses for an client who is unemployed whose medical condition necessitated an immediate move
  • Tutoring

Housing Services

Pacific Clinics’ Housing Services Department helps individuals and families who are unhoused secure a safe place to live and rebuild their lives by providing emergency, transitional and permanent supportive housing.

Permanent housing is provided through United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Unhoused Section 8 and Shelter Plus Care programs.

Our Housing Services Department currently manages all transitional housing through leases at properties in the community for foster care transitional age youth and adults. We also collaborate with motels, property management companies and private landlords for additional housing needs.

Once they are approved for housing, some consumers require further assistance, including making their security deposits or obtaining household items to ease their transition to a new life. We provide that monetary assistance, as well as money management and vocational services designed to help them develop the skills and strengths essential to achieve their personal goals.
