Pacific Clinics has been awarded a $150,000 community grant to expand our reach and offerings by developing a Family Resource Center (FRC) in San Bernardino County. This funding will help us reach 1,400 children, families and youth.
All families, regardless of socioeconomic background, will have access to a center where they can receive culturally and linguistically appropriate, trauma-informed, equity-focused mental health and harm reduction services.
“This significant contribution will empower us to provide critical services and resources to families in need, fostering resilience and well-being in our community. Kaiser Permanente’s commitment to supporting mental health and family stability is truly inspiring, and we are honored to partner with them in making a lasting impact,” says Senior Clinical Director Candy Curiel, EdD.
Our FRC services will include a wide range of services, including workforce development activities, housing navigation and peer support, to address social determinants of health.
Thanks to Kaiser Permanente and our community partnership, San Bernardino residents will soon have access to this level of care through our agency.
Pacific Clinics operates FRCs throughout California, helping families through necessities like diaper distribution, parenting classes and more.
