On April 17, Pacific Clinics held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the official opening of our Morgan Hill office in the Bay Area Region! Over the past decade, we’ve seen a lot of growth in South County, a part of the Bay Area which encompasses Morgan Hill, South San Jose, San Martin and Gilroy, Calif., and the needs of this community have grown in tandem. Currently, 25% of the families we serve in this region live in South County, so it was only a matter of time before such a move became a necessity.
“From crisis to prevention, Pacific Clinics services in South County homes and schools have become engrained within the community,” says Regional Executive Director, Bay Area Region Don Taylor. “Our Morgan Hill office offers the additional option of clinic-based services and allows us to more deeply strengthen this community from within it.”
The space on Monterey Road in Morgan Hill has nine therapy rooms with different themes such as “Under the Sea” and “Safari”, two telehealth rooms, five conference rooms, two employee break rooms and 12 drop-in workspaces for Pacific Clinics employees. A variety of mental health services will be available there for families and individuals of all ages.
We are grateful for our donors — Swenson Foundation, Karen and Randy Baker, Jim and Marianne Nelson, Karen Meyer and CK Haun, Jo and Barry Ariko, Leslie and Butch Hauser and the EMQ Auxiliary — who sponsored the therapy rooms in this beautiful new office.
