Pacific Clinics recently held its annual fundraiser, Uplifting Communities: The 2022 Pacific Clinics Annual Celebration, recognizing the historic merger of Uplift Family Services and Pacific Clinics, California’s leading nonprofit community-based behavioral health care providers. The event, which took place at the Millennium Biltmore in Downtown Los Angeles, raised over $580,000 – the most either agency has raised at a gala to date, showcasing how we are truly better together.
During the event, over 300 guests were treated to a cocktail reception, dinner and awards recognition, as well as a live auction and a silent auction with more than 50 items ranging from travel experiences, jewelry, restaurants and more.
This year’s Champion of Mental Health was Clark Gregg, an award-winning actor, director, screenwriter and mental health advocate best known for his role as Agent Coulson in Marvel films. Also honored were two employees, Senior Director of Training Beth Jenks, Ph.D. and Manager of Administrative Services Alma Gomez, who went above and beyond in support of clients and fellow employees during the pandemic.
ABC7 Eyewitness News Anchors Ellen Leyva and David Ono served as the masters of ceremonies, and Ike Barinholtz, a comedian, actor, writer, producer and director presented an award to one of Pacific Clinics’ employees.
All proceeds will help Pacific Clinics provide mental health treatment and supportive services to children, families and adults in the Greater Los Angeles area via our Hollygrove and Housing programs.
A special thanks to the title sponsor, Blue Shield of California, as well as our presenting sponsors, CBT and Epic Insurance Brokers & Consultants. Pacific Clinics is also grateful for the Board of Directors, Board of Governors, Associate Board and the Gala Committee, and, as always, our generous sponsors, donors, event attendees and guests for making this night a night to remember.
