Is your family caring for a child experiencing persistent mental health challenges or behavioral challenges in school or at home? Pacific Clinics’ Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Program can help by providing individualized care by a compassionate, skilled and collaborative team.
Assertive Community Treatment at Pacific Clinics starts with a great clinical team and great partners who work together to provide behavioral rehabilitation help for children and youth between the ages of 10 and 18. Unlike traditional therapy, this comprehensive program utilizes a customized team of counselors and specialists to manage your child’s individual needs.
Your child’s team may include:
An ACT clinician or specialist then regularly meets with your child at a time and place that meets your family’s needs and works with the family to establish achievable goals for your child’s behavior and wellness.
We offer services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, as needed including in a variety of settings such as home, school, work or other settings where problems arise.
We help children and their families learn and adopt healthier ways of coping, communicating and relating to their peers and educators.
We do this through an individualized treatment plan that aims to:
A treatment plan will utilize the clinical team’s experience to help your child identify triggers, implement coping strategies, manage stress and manage conflict. Our parent partners also work directly with family members on implementing positive reinforcement and recovery-based strategies in the home.

The recent wildfires have deeply tested our resilience as the devastating fires in Southern California continue to impact countless lives. Tragically, 40 of our employees and clients have lost their homes, and many more have been evacuated as the emergency unfolds. Our teams continue to assist clients and families during this time.
