At Pacific Clinics, we want to empower families to meet the needs of children, especially if they are handling tough mental or behavioral conditions. That’s where our Bright Beginnings program partnership comes in.
Give your child the tools they need to thrive.
Our Bright Beginnings program focuses on families of children, up to 10 years of age with complex mental health or behavioral needs. The work is a collaborative effort, ensuring the child’s best interests are always front and center.
Each family in the program works with a certified team of mental health and behavioral professionals or specialists. Specifically, they aim to develop strategies for decision-making and stress-handling to make the following easier:
We help children with persistent mental health and behavioral challenges by offering individualized community-based services. It’s an early childhood mental health program, but the benefits can last a lifetime.
Children with behavioral challenges or mental health conditions have diverse needs. Our Bright Beginnings program focuses on your child’s individual care to help them reach their goals, whether that’s to become a better student, make friends or manage stress.
The child will gain coping techniques and education about local community-based services that can help them manage their emotions, channel their energy and anticipate reactions to certain triggers.
Children and families graduate from the program within nine months, on average.
A bright future requires being able to manage our emotions and interactions with others. Skills that matter include the following:
We work closely with parents and other family members to reinforce the Bright Beginnings techniques at home. You will have tools to help your child work through stress, overstimulation or big emotions and help them grow.
We strive to provide individualized care to all, with flexible and accessible services that use community resources to really make a difference.

The recent wildfires have deeply tested our resilience as the devastating fires in Southern California continue to impact countless lives. Tragically, 40 of our employees and clients have lost their homes, and many more have been evacuated as the emergency unfolds. Our teams continue to assist clients and families during this time.
