Your journey through our program includes a complete student support team. Academic advisors and success coaches guide you every step of the way and provide personal and educational support. You can count on us to help.

Policies and Procedures

Attendance

Regular attendance is important to the education process and supports student success and achievement. Instructors will discuss attendance and tardiness requirements for each workshop or course. Student guidelines for attendance include:

• Notify REI and the instructor if a student will be absent;
• Instructors may consider a student absent if they are more than 15 minutes late to class; and
• Students missing one or more classes can be dropped from the workshop/course.

Code of Conduct

The Student Code of Conduct addresses attendance, participation and behavior standards for all Recovery Education Institute (REI) students. Students are responsible for regulating their conduct and for respecting the rights and privileges of others.

Library Lab Policies

Library Lab Hours: Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

REI hosts many resources, including our student government, textbooks, a computer lab and a study library.

All technology resources on campus are for active students currently enrolled in classes and workshops at REI. Please refer to the Student Code of Conduct for information about borrowing books, DVDs and other learning resources.

Classrooms and Campus Behavior

Students are expected to:

• Wear photo ID while on campus;
• Be respectful toward employees and students; and
• Smoke only in designated areas.

The following are strictly prohibited while studying at REI:

• Cheating, plagiarism and copying from another student’s test, paper or other academic assignment;
• The possession or use of any firearms, explosives, dangerous chemicals or weapons;
• Use, possession or distribution of alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs; and
• Performing obscene or inappropriate acts.

The Pacific Clinics team will address disruptive or disrespectful behaviors and consider suspension or termination of a student.
